Chapter 2

A website is a collection of related webpages.
Ways to communicate over the computer using the Internet are chatrooms, instant messaging, and VOIP. Chatrooms allow users to communicate with text with each other on live conversation using the Internet. VOIP is voice over IP that allows people to talk with one another using the Internet. Emails are electronic messages that are used through email programs to send messages and files via the Internet. Usernames are required to access emails and chatrooms. They contain special characters such as letters and numbers which identify a certain user. Netiquette is the acceptable behavior allowed on the Internet by users.
